I just knew your prospecting tip would be picking up that 80 lb phone. People think it is so hard to call prospects, but once they start doing it, it becomes not only fun but a great challenge. Awesome post, Jordan!

The phone is our friend NOT our enemy! I listened to Black Belt Recruiting every day for 2 months straight when I was just getting started in the game and the transformation began…

I couldn't agree more with you about people saying, “I can't believe you actually called me”. That just reiterates the fact that not enough people are getting on the phone to connect with people.

I recommend Todd Falcone and Tom Challan as well for their prospecting expertise and training.

Your post says it exactly as it should be said Jordan. This is a business about connecting with people and the next best thing to face to face is the phone so why would we think that anything less than this is good enough? It isn't so if you want to be successful you have to pick up the phone, that's step one. Worry about the next steps when you've mastered the first step!

That is an extremely important key to this business. I call my clients back "within" 24hrs of downloading my Free ebook because:
1. I can make sure they got the book
2. I can begin to build that relationship with them and actually find out what they need.

There is one more important key that needs to be considered before contacting your clients. What do you SAY? A person needs to learn some basic skills to build insant rapport with their people.
