I knew who Adam Chandler was long before he ever heard my name, although he tells me the story of Brian Fanale mentioning me at a private dinner they were having at a private event in Colorado about a year ago today, which I feel is pretty cool.  So a year ago, I had just watched Adam Chandler and 10 or so other top marketers from My Lead System Pro do a live Ustream broadcast, and I really loved what Adam had to say in response to all the questions he was being asked.  I didn’t know it back then, but within the year I’d be working very closely with him, and be learning a ton about being successful both online and offline in this industry.

Fast forward to meeting Adam Chandler live in Vegas…

I bumped into him walking through the hotel lobby at the Venetian, one of the nicest hotels on the strip, and immediately asked for his number and said I wanted to connect with him throughout the weekend.  I had the pleasure of hanging out with him a few times over that weekend at MyLeadSystemPro’s Live the Dream event, and then we really connected after we got home.  We talked and decided we were both on a similar path with different talents that would truly complement each other.  I was so psyched that within a year of me seeing him on the live ustream that I was now in the position of working right alongside Adam Chandler and getting to pick his brain on a regular basis.

You can learn a lot from someone who is teaching you and explaining things to you through their own teachings, and that’s a great way to learn.  I much prefer to surround myself with the successful people I want to become like, and really learning from them simply by watching them in action and seeing how they truly act and respond to events on a daily basis.  I’ve also learned that it’s better to put your ego aside, and surround yourself with people greater than you are, rather than surrounding yourself with people who praise you for being greater than they are.  In network marketing it’s essential to do both, as you must be a leader, and you also must continue to follow the path of leaders greater than you are.  Adam Chandler is one of my leaders, and I’m anxiously and eagerly one of his avid followers.

Now to share with you some of the things I’ve learned first-hand from Adam Chandler…

Adam is truly a man of many talents and a massive action taker.  You hear a lot of leaders tell you to take massive action, even I myself thought in the past I was a massive action taker… and I was in my own right.  Surrounding myself with Adam, I truly got a clear understanding of what it means to take consistent massive action.

The other thing that truly helped me break through a huge fear of mine, was hanging out with Adam Chandler at our company’s live event in Las Vegas about a month ago.  I got to actually see some of his daily rituals live and in person.  The one thing that I truly took away from that event is that being in flow is the way to go.  What I mean by that is that in our industry it’s ok to be on the phone and connecting with people while outside of the office.  I used to save all my phone calls until I was sitting in my office in front of the computer.  That’s no way to live life, and that’s certainly no way to have fun in the network marketing industry.

I could go on and on about what I learned from Adam Chandler and I’m going to tell you a little bit more.  He taught me how to build a team that is actually duplicating and moving forward.  He taught me how to get new team members started effectively so they can hit the ground running.  He taught me some great ways to generate more free network marketing leads.  He also taught me some extremely effective mlm sponsoring secrets that showed me how to put 4 reps in my team my 1^st week in the biz.
