I started reading Napoleon Hill Law of Success today. I got about 35 pages into it and suddenly I had an epiphany.  This book was written originally in 1928, almost 100 years ago, and the same Law that worked then still works today.  It will probably also work in 100 years and even 1000 years.

As I said, I just started reading the book today, so I haven’t read Napoleon Hill’s insights into these 17 laws, but I can tell you 1 thing I learned from his case study.  He laid out 7 successful people and 2 who had failed in a spreadsheet with their respective ratings for each of the 17 laws.  Out of all 17 laws, there were a few that every successful person that Napoleon Hill did his case study on had in common.

I’m going to tell you which laws the successes had in common, and also which laws the failures had in common.

Then I’m going to share my thoughts on Napoleon Hill Law of Success.

They all had a strong belief in the power of the mastermind, and had used that power on a regular basis.  This single law can take your success level from almost complete failure to huge success practically overnight.  I remember when I found the power of the mastermind group after reading “Think and Grow Rich”.

They all had a definite chief aim or a Definiteness of purpose.  They knew what they wanted and what they were going to do to get there.  This is very important.  How would you know you’ve achieved success if you don’t know what you’re aiming for?

The ability to concentrate was also highly ranked across the board.  I don’t think I need to say anything about this law.  I know the days when I stay focused I get a lot more work done than the days when my mind wanders.  Concentration is a must-have skill, and I look forward to perfecting it someday soon.

Now the 1 law which wasn’t followed that caused the 2 failures was “following the golden rule”.  That should tell you something about how you should treat other people in business and in life period.

My conclusion is that if you focus on what you’re doing, know what you’re doing, work with others, and treat people how you want them to treat you, then you’ll achieve success.  The other laws are important, and I might have even missed some of the other major influences.  I’ll make sure to keep you informed as I continue to read this book.

I want to tell you a little bit about my life and my business before and after I found my mastermind group.   Before I realized I needed a mastermind group to actually achieve success, I truly thought that I could do everything on my own.  I thought that everyone who wasn’t in my personal team had no potential to help me with my business.  I only thought of myself and the money me and my team would make.  Although I was following an attraction marketing formula, I still wasn’t achieving the success I should have been because I was missing that one key component.

Thinking in this fashion only about the good of myself and my team really got me nowhere fast.  I made a little bit of money, I signed some team members up, and so did they.  However, all that trickled off to nothing because we didn’t have a true mastermind alliance working together.

Move forward a few months to when I finished reading Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich” and realized the key component that was missing from my business and my life that was holding me and my team back from achieving the success we deserved.  I almost immediately connected with a guy who was on the same path as me.  He had the “can-do-anything” attitude of a true entrepreneur, and he literally was willing to do whatever it took to achieve MLM success.

So we began meeting and talking on a regular basis.  We shared ideas with one another about things we had encountered in our studies, problems we had run into, and people we had met and learned from.  We were constantly looking for ways to take our business to the next level.  The best part of having this mastermind group was that we held each other accountable for what we were getting done in our business.

We then started to encounter other people who were also like-minded and looking for a mastermind group.  Thus our group grew some more.  We now had 4 minds thinking about how to achieve mlm success rather than just 1 or 2 minds.  Note that we weren’t even in the same business opportunity.  Our weekly meetings became so packed with knowledge that we decided to open our meetings to the world through live webinars.  We are now attracting some much greater minds than our own to our mastermind group because we’re working together to achieve these goals.  This is the true power of a mastermind alliance.

Before the institution of a mastermind group into my life, I was struggling to make money on a consistent basis with my business.  Now that I’ve gathered a mastermind group into my business, I’m making money almost daily in a lot of areas of my business.  I have people flocking to me wanting to join my team and be mentored by me and my mastermind.   My suggestion to you would be to start actively seeking other individuals to create your own mastermind alliance, and work together to achieve all of your goals.

2 Millionaires talk about their SECRETS to MLM Success…DON’T MISS THIS!

MLM Success is never achieved by a person who isn’t trying to achieve it.  What I mean by this is someone who is hoping for success or wishing for success, but not putting in the necessary effort will not achieve success in mlm.  There are going to be obstacles that get in the way, and there are going to be months where no money is made, but it is necessary to be persistent and move onward through these tough times.  In order to learn how to succeed in network marketing, you’re going to need to develop perseverance and educate yourself.  Napoleon Hill has come up with some phenomenal principles that must be followed in order to develop perseverance and achieve mlm success.  I’m going to share these mlm success tips with you as well as my personal insight into each of them.

1-      A definite purpose backed by burning desire for its fulfillment- This seems basic to me now that I know this and created mine a long time ago.  When I was first starting out though, I didn’t have a clear purpose for success.  In turn, I didn’t have a burning desire to achieve that success because I didn’t know exactly how I was going to get there.  Begin by writing down exactly what you want to achieve with great detail, and then you’ll be able to develop a passion for achieving that.  The more detailed your thought is about what you’re going to achieve, the more intense your desire will become, and you’ll find yourself doing whatever it takes to achieve it.  Know what your Definiteness of Purpose is, and You will achieve success.

2-      A definite plan, expressed in continuous action- You must have a plan for everything that you are doing.  Without a specific plan of action, your life will be chaotic.  You might not know when you first start what your full plan will be, but you can add to your plans as time goes on.  Even make plans for your specific marketing strategies.  If your life becomes systematic, you will accomplish more in a shorter period of time.  When you start, do not stop going.  Make the decision to do whatever you’re doing at full-steam or not at all.  When your actions become consistent, then your results will become consistent.

3-      A mind closed tightly against all negative and discouraging influences, including negative suggestions of relatives, friends and acquaintances- When you set out on your journey towards success, you have to make the decision that you’re going to achieve it.  You can not worry about what other people will say about you or think about you.  Don’t worry if you might not succeed on your first attempts.  Most people don’t succeed on their first attempt, but a successful person will not let these obstacles slow them down.  If you let your mind be overtaken with negativity, you’re undertaking will surely fail.  When you have a positive mental attitude, you will attract more positive energy into your life.  This positive energy will be required to achieve success.

4-      A friendly alliance with one or more persons who will encourage one to follow through with both plan and purpose- Set up a mastermind group.  Find people that are like-minded and begin associating with them.  When you find specific people that have the same visions and mindset that you do or that you want, begin talking with them and learning from them.  Your mastermind group might even be people that you’re teaching.  This group will be where you can freely share ideas and thoughts so that as a whole you become more knowledgeable and as a whole your thoughts become greater and more powerful.  Meet with this group often and feed off of their positive mental attitude so that your desire to work hard becomes greater.

These 4 mlm success tips have helped countless people develop perseverance and likewise mlm success by shifting their mindset to that of the MLM Top Earners.  It is not necessary to apply these principles in any specific order.  Every single one of these principles will help reinforce the others, which will bring you closer to the mlm success that you desire so much to have.  As I’ve said, I feel they’re all important, but I want to throw it in there that the last of the mlm success tips really helped me to break out and maintain my persistence until I was able to quit my job.  Make sure you’re not trying to do this on your own, and never be too proud to ask others for their opinions or thoughts.  Study these principles and make them habits, and I will see you at the top.

Step 1- fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire. It is not sufficient merely to say, “I want plenty of money.” Be definite as to the amount. There is a psychological reason for this definiteness.

Step 2- determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire.(there has to be sacrifice to get what we want.  Like the old saying, “you can’t have something for nothing.”)

Step 3- establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money you desire. (when are you going to possess your riches?)

Step 4- create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into action. (how are you going to achieve your riches?)

Step 5- write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire, name the time limit for its acquisition, state what you intend to give in return for the money, and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate it.

Step 6- Read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning.  As you read—see and feel and believe yourself already in possession of the money.

Why do you need a definite plan of action?

You’ll notice the word definite a lot throughout Napoleon Hill’s writing, and it’s for a reason.  If you have no certainty in what you want to achieve, how you’re going to achieve it, and when you’re going to achieve it, the chances of you actually following a plan toward success will be highly unlikely.  We’ve always been taught in school, mainly in science classes, that you need a concise plan of action before you follow through with your work.  Developing a plan of action will help you develop your mindset in the fact that you’ll know what you need to accomplish in order to reach your goals.

Knowing where you’re headed, your monetary goal, you’ll have that mindset of someone who’s already in that position.  When you read this plan of action out daily, you’ll begin to project your mind to that position of success subconsciously, and before long you’ll have the “Millionaire Mindset”.   Beginning to develop this mindset at an early stage in your business will have such a positive effect on you and your success.  It’s never too early and you’re never too poor to develop the “Millionaire Mindset”.
