I had a brick and mortar business model for 7 years of my life, ever since I was 19 years old, in the restaurant industry. I was destined to be a business owner, but I always knew I wanted more time freedom, which took me to the internet to look into MLM online marketing. You see the problem with the Restaurant business, or with any brick and Mortar business that has to be open to customers to make money, is that the business actually runs the owner’s life. In my case, the restaurant was my life from 2:00PM til 12:00AM on weekdays, and All Day Long on Weekends. Being a bar as well, it sometimes didn’t close til 2:30 AM, and we didn’t get done til 3:30 in the morning.
This was not the life I had imagined when I signed on for this business, and so I decided after 7 years to look online. A whole new world was opened up to me that I could not turn away from…EVER. The thought of owning a business with complete time freedom was just so amazing to me, not to mention all the money that could be made. For me though, it was more of a time freedom issue since I had never had a social life after 19 years of age. For this reason alone, I was destined to have my own MLM Business through Online Marketing.
This is Where the Internet Comes into Play…
So I’ve decided to write this post to you to let you know how lucky we all are to be able to operate an internet business. I’m just going to throw out some facts from my personal experience in the Restaurant industry. To buy the building alone was over $800,000 or roughly $12,000 a month mortgage. The cost for equipment, repairs, supplies, and anything you might need in the restaurant was well over $250,000 in about 2 ½ years of time. None of these costs include food cost, labor cost, alcohol costs, and a whole lot of other variable costs on a monthly basis. Basically, if we played our cards right, after 20 years of HARD WORK we would have each made $1 Million or $50k a year. The cost of purchasing or renting any brick and mortar business is not cheap no matter what business you’re in, I just have firsthand knowledge of owning a restaurant.
And So It Begins…
Now let me tell you what we had to go through to make this happen. I already told you about the hours I worked. Take into account that I missed any and all family functions accept Easter and Christmas. I had no social life at all. The only friends I had were customers and some of the staff, which isn’t the worst thing, I met a lot of great people being in business. I had to manage the schedule for around 30 people, and if one of them couldn’t show up on their scheduled day, guess who covered the shift. I had to make sure we had enough food, liquor, and supplies to make it through business each day. Also had to make sure the entire restaurant was presentable to public every single day. If we were sick, we had to be open anyway, because we had customers that paid our bills. I took 3 sick days in 7 years.
At the time this was the only way I knew how to stay out of corporate America or working for someone else’s dream, and it seemed Great. I love to cook, so the fact that I got to cook food every day was awesome. I was constantly learning from other people I cooked with, and I got to have a fun time at work. Don’t think this whole experience was negative for me. In fact it was mostly positive. I learned a lot of valuable lessons from being a business owner of a brick and mortar business. I gained a very good work ethic from working with my family. I would absolutely choose owning a restaurant over having a job any day.
Now a quick summary of what it takes to do MLM Online Marketing. The starting cost is anywhere from $100 to $20,000 with a very low monthly overhead. There are essentially no employees to have to worry about wages and schedules with. There are essentially no products that you must stock and worry about having ready for the customers, which means you don’t need to invest 10s of 1000s of Dollars into inventory. (Our restaurant had over $100,000 in alcohol alone and $50,000 in food/supplies) There are no set days or hours of being open for operation, and your business will run 24/7 while you’re away. You also have the potential to make a ton of money off of other people’s work, with nothing to lose if you don’t make any money off of their work.
If you choose to market online, you’re going to want to get your very own Attraction Marketing Blueprint.
The point of this article was not to knock the restaurant industry or be negative, but rather to illustrate how lucky we are to be able to start a business online for less than $20,000 a year, and have the potential to make $1 Million a year. All while working from home on our own time, and deciding when we will wake up and take a day off. For those of you that think MLM Online Marketing should be FREE, then I suggest you go start your very own Brick and Mortar Business to see how inexpensive this really is. For those of you that understand what it takes, and how lucky we really are, Remember that every day when you wake up without an alarm clock, and take a day off whenever the weather allows for a game of golf.

man reminds me of why I need to keep plugging away to get there.GREAT STUFF!
Jordan I can relate to your post 100%, having owned a couple of offline businesses myself.
It's true what you say about it being so much harder to set up a “brick and mortar” type business but you know sometimes I think it's the very fact that it's so much easier to do so online than prevents people from taking it seriously enough to succeed.
For example, as you will know preparing a comprehensive business plan is a prerequisite before starting any traditional business. It's a grueling and challenging task which forces the potential business owner to have a very real understanding not only of whether the business is feasible or not but to know exactly what needs doing in practical terms to achieve the business goals. Not only do the majority of online business owners have no business plan at all but I have a feeling most would never get into business if they had to prepare such a plan because they wouldn't even make it past page 2.
Maybe that's exactly what online business owners should be looking to do if they are serious about being successful. I wouldn't be without mine which is a lot more simple than one for a traditional business and yet mine still consists of 12 pages! Great post. Thanks.

The best part is when you're out living your life, your business is still earning money… THAT'S THE BEST
A lot more money… and more back-breaking labor… I much prefer learning and teaching other people from my comfortable desk chair.
Absolutely.. Reminded me as well…
You're So Right Marcus… People probably look at this like a hobby that could make them a ton of money. It doesn't work that way. I'm more organized now in my life than I ever have been before… Almost every detail of my life is planned out, not just my business. It's amazing what some people think they can achieve with no planning at all.
Believe it or not I actually had a cleaning company I was doing before I decided to jump online. Boy am I glad that people are fickle and only care about their bottom line other than the work being done!! I will never do anything else this is where its at fo sho!! lol loved this article Jordan oh and your vid is done its in my youtube channel!!!
This is absolutely where it's at Stuart… I would never dream of going back to anything else.
