How to choose the correct network marketing business

When first looking into a network marketing business, it’s very easy to get sucked into all the hype from the people or the websites that are presenting their network marketing opportunity to you.  You must first think about where you want to be with your network marketing business a few years from now, and what you want to achieve from having your own business.  What will you need to run your business? Will you be able to move around easily?  Do you have to come into contact with physical products?  These factors should decide what network marketing opportunity you ultimately get involved with.

What will you need to run your network marketing business?  This is the most important factor when choosing your opportunity.  It will affect how you run your business and where you run your business.   You have to think about things like what your product is, how you’re going to market, how will you build your team and train your team, and what areas of the world can you market in.  Do you have to deal with physical products and seeing your team members face-to-face, or can you run your business from anywhere in the world with a cell phone and a computer?

This main question leads to a whole series of other factors you must think about when choosing your network marketing business.  How would dealing with a physical product affect your life and your business?  You would be limited to certain areas of the world because you’d have to be in touch with your customers, and actually have to deliver the products to them face-to-face.  This would also mean that your team might be limited because you would be training them in person.

This leads me to my next question.  Will you be able to move around easily?  If you’ve built a customer base and a team in a certain area of the country, and that requires you to be in physical contact with those people, would you be able to move to another area of the country very easily?  You wouldn’t want to have to decide between going where you want to go and doing what you want to do, and keeping your business running.

All of these factors led me to my current business choice.  I was in a network marketing business years ago that required me to have an office, be in contact with my team on a face-to-face basis, and talk to people in person about the opportunity and the products I was selling.  I knew with those circumstances that I would never have the complete and total freedom that I wanted to achieve with my network marketing business unless I stopped building it at one point.  My current network marketing opportunity only requires me to have a cell phone and a computer with internet, which means I can travel anywhere in the world, build a team of people I’ve never seen face-to-face, and have the complete and total freedom that I’ve been looking to achieve with my business.  All of this is possible because my business opportunity is based on the internet.
