There are literally a ton of different network marketing companies out there for you to join and make money in, but not all network marketing companies are right for you. When looking into joining a network marketing company, you have to think about a few important things. What kind of product or products does this network marketing company offer? What kind of compensation plan is in place? What is the track record of this network marketing company? All of these are very important questions to think about when looking into different network marketing companies.
You want to choose a network marketing company that will ultimately allow you to become financially free from the burden of a job. This might seem easy to some, but I know from all of the hype out there, this is not an easy task. It’s seemingly very easy to get sucked into all of the different network marketing companies that are claiming to be the next best thing or are guaranteeing success with very little work on your own part. Don’t be fooled by any of these claims. Do the research yourself, and know that getting involved in a network marketing company is going to take some serious work on your part if you’re looking to achieve great success. First and foremost you have to look at the network marketing company’s products. Are these products something that you would feel passionate about selling people, or do you use these types of products yourself? The second factor is equally as important as the first. I’m talking about the compensation plan of the network marketing company. I’ve noticed, especially thanks to the internet, that a lot of little MLM companies aren’t even offering a product. They simply pay their distributors to sign other people up into the company, and the cycle goes on and on. This would be classified as a pyramid scheme, and is the exact type of scheme that gives other network marketing companies a bad reputation.
You want to find a network marketing company with a compensation plan that is based mostly around the sales of products to the consumer. Of course you still want to be rewarded when you bring a new distributor into the business, but this shouldn’t be where you’re earning most of your money. The compensation plan should also offer you a chance to earn great money up front and in the long run. If your network marketing company doesn’t offer both, you’ll run into a lot of problems when your team members aren’t able to make enough money right away or your team members don’t continue to make money to keep them involved for the long haul.
Taking both of these factors into account, you’ll want to look at the network marketing company as a whole. How long has this company been around? How successful have other people been in this company? You can’t base a company’s success and your chance for success with that company off of very little proof. Choosing a company with at least a 2 year history will allow you to steer clear of a possible failure a few years down the road.
All of these factors lead up to the final thing that is necessary to your success in any of these network marketing companies. You have to be able to successfully market your business and your products in this day and age.
