Ranking In Google- How I Reached The First Page

There are a lot of different ways to generate traffic to your websites from paid advertising to social media marketing and everything in between.  My favorite method for generating traffic is from the search engines.  When you search engine optimize your website to get on the first page of the different search engines you will be unstoppable.  Ranking in Google will give you unlimited free traffic once you figure out how to get your website to page one for the keywords of your choosing.  There are a lot of factors that come into play when you’re trying to do this.

I recently got my articles ranked on the first page of Google in less than 2 weeks time, and I’m going to share with you exactly what I did.  I used this 4 step Article Marketing Strategy, which I cover in depth in my previous post.  I wrote articles to rank my blog for these specific keywords.  Before I could begin writing these articles I had to do some keyword research.  Keyword research is such a large topic to cover that I’m not going to go into it here.  After doing the keyword research and finding the keywords that my website will have a chance to rank for, I write an article that is 500-750 words long.  I use the keyword in the title and then I use it naturally in the article.  The search engines have become smarter, and you no longer want to worry about heavy keyword density in your articles.  That style of writing never seemed very intelligent anyways.

Now that the article is written and posted to my blog or my website, I need to start promoting it so that Google will find my article and relate it to the keywords that I chose.  The main thing that needs to be done with your original article is getting back-links from as many other places to your website.  When you generate back-links from other websites, it’s also good to make sure these websites are higher traffic websites.  If a website has a greater Google page-rank or a lower Alexa ranking, the back-link will be more powerful for your website.

Generating these back-links is really a simple 3-step process.  The first step will be to bookmark your original article on many different social networking and bookmarking sites using onlywire.  The next step is to create a short video telling people about your article and then linking that video back to your article.  You want to distribute that video to as many different video sites as possible.  The best way to do this is through Traffic Geyser.  Traffic Geyser submits to 90 different video sharing sites simultaneously, taking 90% of the work out of your hands.  The final step is to submit your article to as many article directories as possible.  If you want to do this the right way, you’re going to want to use automatic article submitter.  This program will allow you to submit your article to almost 300 different directories, and it will spin your articles so that it appears you have different content linking back to your original article.  If you have the exact same article in 300 different directories, the search engines will look at it as spam and give your site a lower ranking.  This is the exact process that I’ve been using to rank my articles on Google’s first page over the last few weeks.
